Training Title:Saving the Native Son: Promoting the Mental Health of Black Men
Training Description:Date and Time: 2/14/2025, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. ET. Fostering resilience within Black communities is vital for promoting mental wellness among Black men. This webinar will focus on culturally informed, evidence-based counseling techniques that draw on the strengths of Black culture and community. Participants will explore counseling models that address the specific needs of Black men and promote empowerment through mentoring and community support. This is Part Two of a three-part series. Part One will be available via live webinar on Friday, January 17, with recording available in the ACA Learning Portal. Part Three will be held live, in-person on Thursday, March 27 at the ACA Annual Conference in Orlando. Pre-registration is required. 1.5 Continuing education hours available.
