| Job Description: | Gettysburg College is seeking two experienced, generalist Staff Psychologists/Counselors (psychologist, counselor, social worker). Gettysburg College is a residential undergraduate liberal arts college, which enrolls approximately 2,600 students.
Responsibilities of these positions include, but are not limited to: provision of individual and group therapy to students; screening and referral for AOD issues; consultation to staff, faculty, parents, associated care providers, and students; crisis intervention; and education/outreach. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Health and Counseling Services. The successful candidates will be joining a staff of 4 other providers, an administrative assistant, and a consulting psychiatrist.
Requirements
Doctorate in clinical psychology is highly desired. Doctoral level psychology candidates must pass the EPPP and PA Jurisprudence exam within 6 months of date of hire, with licensure to follow immediately upon completion of required postdoctoral hours.
Minimum of master’s degree in the mental health field is required. Master’s level candidates must be licensed in PA within 6 months of hire.
Candidates with only alcohol or chemical-dependency certification need not apply. |
