| Job Description: | Bright Heart Health is seeking a licensed therapist for our telemedicine Outpatient Program which provides services to men and women with chronic pain, opiate use, substance use disorders and potentially other co-occurring disorders. This specific position provides group and individual therapy sessions to clients specifically regarding substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Counselors conduct 60-90 minute group therapy sessions for clinical support to recovery while enrolled medication assisted treatment. This individual can be located anywhere in the United States. Bright Heart Health will license the therapist in states where services will be provided.
Responsibilities: Provides individual and group therapy on assigned cases through telemedicine. Assures all case coordination is completed and documented in the chart Assists with completing releases/consents as needed from patient and/or family Assists with preliminary discharge plan formulation with the treatment team and support as an integral part of treatment Ensures therapies conducted are consistent with the goals and philosophies of the program and supportive of each patient's individual treatment plan Completes all clinical notes in a timely manner-in adherence to company policy. Maintain treatment plans monthly and document to treatment plans in all clinical encounters. Document referrals made for services not provided by the facility, as needed Caseload weekly review, maintain monthly drug screen compliance and stay connected to clinical team weekly.
Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field. Must have current state license Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills Must have strong clinical assessment skills
