Job Title:Staff therapist treating veterans, military, first-responders and their families
Job Description:Seeking to fill a therapist position in an expanding non-government, community-based treatment center treating active duty military, veterans and their families. Soldier Center is growing to our next level as a treatment, training and research center for soldiers, veterans and first-responders. Located near the Land-Between-the-Lakes recreational area, Soldier Center (www.Soldier-Center.com) is nationally known as a treatment and training center in the use of EMDR therapy in treating a full-range of clinical presentations from adverse life experiences to first-responders, combat trauma and military sexual trauma (MST). Additionally, interested staff therapists have an opportunity of training and serving as part of a early intervention crisis response team. Clinical staff receive weekly consultation. E. C. Hurley, DMin, PhD, is the founder/executive director and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, a retired Army Colonel, EMDR approved trainer for both basic and advanced trainings, who oversees the effective treatment of our clients. The core value of the center insures all clients are treated with dignity and respect deserving effective treatment in a timely manner. Clinical positions allow for daily personal and professional satisfaction while making a significant contribution to those we serve as they have served the nation.

We seek dedicated mental health providers who value providing effective treatment to soldiers, veterans and first responders and their families - making a difference their lives. Candidates must be independently licensed mental health providers with a strong sense of professional identity in working with a wide range of clinical presentations from adverse life experiences to complex trauma. Candidates need to be licensed providers in Tennessee or willing to become Tennessee licensed. A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an EMDR therapist is sought.
