Job Title:DBHDS Project LINK Supervisor (Program Administration Specialist II)-- VA Dept. of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
Job Description:The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services’ (DBHDS) Office of Adult Community Behavioral Health Services is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and accomplished professional to provide project support for the State Pilot Program for Treatment for Pregnant and Postpartum Women. This three year grant funded position is responsible for establishing data and activity reporting processes and procedures; working with the evaluation contractor to coordinate all data collection, compilation of data and data reporting; reviewing activity and data reports to ensure adherence to SAMHSA/CSAT and DBHDS implementation requirements, meeting project timelines/milestones, and reporting deadlines; coordinating initial and follow-up grantee meetings; collaborating with DBHDS Project Team and DBHDS Grants Management Specialist to oversee all fiscal processes; helping Project LINK Coordinators identify processes to maximize Medicaid funding for covered clients; facilitating information sharing between the DBHDS Project Team, Project LINK Coordinators, and external collaborators. Provides technical assistance to other project staff, but is not directly responsible for any other staff. Occasional local and state-wide travel for meetings will be required to accomplish the objectives of this grant-funded project.


Qualifications include: Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and project teams. Demonstrated ability creating and managing administrative processes. Demonstrated ability organizing, prioritizing, and completing project deliverables by stated deadlines. Familiarity with Virginia's public behavioral health system. Must have pleasant, positive and helpful service attitude. Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, rapport-building skills, and engagement skills are required. Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software is required. Experience working with pregnant and parenting women in human service or educational settings is a plus.
